Rules of Advertising

Guidelines for creating clear, accurate, and compliant property and vehicle listings on Adjeem.

Rules of Advertising

These Rules of Advertising explain how listings and advertising content must be prepared and submitted on Adjeem. They are intended to maintain a clear, accurate, and trusted marketplace for property and vehicle listings across the UAE.

All ads submitted to Adjeem may be reviewed before publication. Listings that do not meet these standards may be rejected, limited, edited, or removed in line with our platform policies and review process.

Before You Post

To improve approval chances and create a better experience for buyers, every ad should follow these basic rules:

  • Use accurate titles, pricing, and details
  • Select the correct category and listing type
  • Upload clear, relevant, and genuine images
  • Avoid duplicate, misleading, or spam-like content
  • Keep descriptions professional, useful, and easy to understand

1. Purpose of These Rules

Adjeem is focused on property and vehicle listings in the UAE. These Rules of Advertising help maintain listing quality, reduce misleading submissions, and support a more reliable experience for buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, agents, dealers, and advertisers.

These rules apply to standard listings, promoted listings, paid features, and banner advertising published through the platform.

2. Accurate and Honest Advertising

Every advertisement must accurately represent what is being offered. Listing titles, descriptions, prices, images, specifications, and category selections must match the actual property, vehicle, or advertising service being presented.

Ads must not contain false, misleading, exaggerated, or incomplete information that could confuse users or create an inaccurate impression. Any important detail that may affect a user’s decision should be stated clearly and honestly.

Examples of misleading advertising include:

  • Using a price that does not reflect the actual asking price
  • Describing a sold, rented, or unavailable item as available
  • Uploading unrelated or deceptive images
  • Claiming features, approvals, or conditions that do not exist
  • Using a title that does not match the actual listing

3. Correct Category and Listing Placement

Listings must be placed in the most relevant category, subcategory, and transaction type. Property ads should be posted under the correct property classification, and vehicle ads should be posted under the correct vehicle type.

Users must also select the correct location, purpose, and listing attributes so buyers can understand the offer clearly. Ads placed in the wrong category or formatted in a misleading way may be rejected or removed.

4. Titles and Descriptions

Titles should be clear, factual, and directly related to the advertised property or vehicle. Descriptions should provide relevant details that help users understand the offer without confusion.

Titles and descriptions must not include excessive repetition, spam wording, irrelevant keywords, misleading claims, or formatting intended only to attract clicks. Unnecessary symbols, all-capital wording, and unrelated promotional text should be avoided.

Good listing content should:

  • Clearly describe the property or vehicle being offered
  • State relevant features and specifications accurately
  • Remain professional and easy to read
  • Help users make informed decisions

5. Pricing Rules

Advertised prices must be genuine and should reasonably reflect the actual intended transaction value. Price fields must not be used to attract attention unfairly, avoid search filters, or mislead users.

Placeholder prices, unrealistic prices, or intentionally incorrect pricing may result in rejection. Where negotiation is possible, the listing should still present a fair and reasonable price indication.

6. Images and Media Standards

Images and media must be relevant to the actual listing and should support a trustworthy marketplace experience. Photos should be clear, suitable for public display, and properly represent the property or vehicle being advertised.

Real images are strongly preferred wherever possible. Media may be rejected if it is misleading, unrelated, heavily edited in a deceptive way, poor in quality, or otherwise unsuitable for the platform.

Images and media should not:

  • Show unrelated properties or vehicles
  • Contain offensive or inappropriate material
  • Use misleading stock photos in a deceptive way
  • Include excessive text overlays that reduce clarity
  • Misrepresent ownership, approval, or affiliation

7. Duplicate and Repetitive Listings

Duplicate or repetitive ads are not allowed where they create clutter, confuse users, or unfairly increase visibility. Posting the same listing multiple times without a valid reason, or publishing several near-identical ads for the same item, may result in moderation action.

If similar listings are genuinely different, each listing should clearly explain what makes it different.

8. Property Listing Standards

Property listings must accurately state the nature of the property, including its location, listing purpose, property type, and other important details. Information such as sale or rent status, size, room count where applicable, furnishing status, and key features should be entered carefully.

Property advertisements must not falsely suggest exclusivity, guaranteed availability, official approval, or endorsement. Claims about the condition, readiness, or features of a property should be truthful and supportable.

9. Vehicle Listing Standards

Vehicle listings must accurately represent the actual vehicle being offered. Important details such as make, model, year, mileage, condition, and major specifications should be stated clearly wherever applicable.

Vehicle ads should not hide material information or present the vehicle in a way that would reasonably mislead a buyer. Images, descriptions, and pricing should remain consistent with each other.

10. Banner Advertising and Promotional Placements

Banner advertisements and promotional placements on Adjeem must also meet platform standards for clarity, legality, and accuracy. Advertising materials must be suitable for a broad public audience and must not contain misleading claims, prohibited content, or visuals that create confusion.

Paid placement or promotional visibility does not exempt any advertiser from review. Adjeem may reject, pause, or remove promotional content that does not meet platform requirements.

11. Communication and Professional Conduct

Advertisements must be presented in a professional and respectful way. Content containing abusive language, harassment, threats, discrimination, or otherwise inappropriate material is not permitted.

Users must not use listings to impersonate any person or business, redirect users into deceptive arrangements, or misuse the platform’s communication tools. Advertisers are expected to communicate honestly and respectfully with interested users.

12. Review, Approval, and Moderation

All ads may go through manual review before publication. This helps maintain listing quality and supports a safer and more reliable marketplace for users across the UAE.

Adjeem reserves the right to reject, edit, limit, suspend, or remove any advertisement that does not meet these Rules of Advertising, our Content Policy, our Terms & Conditions, or other applicable platform requirements. Approval of one listing does not guarantee approval of similar content in the future.

13. Common Reasons for Rejection

A listing may be rejected, delayed, or removed for reasons including:

  • Incorrect or misleading price
  • Wrong category or listing type
  • Duplicate or repetitive posting
  • Low-quality, irrelevant, or misleading images
  • Incomplete or unclear description
  • Spam wording or excessive promotional text
  • Missing key details that affect user understanding
  • Content that does not meet platform standards

If a listing is not approved, users may need to review and correct the content before submitting it again.

14. Consequences of Non-Compliance

If an advertisement does not meet these rules, Adjeem may refuse publication, request corrections, remove the listing, limit account activity, or take other reasonable moderation steps. Repeated or serious violations may result in stronger restrictions in line with our platform policies.

Advertisers remain responsible for keeping their listings accurate, updated, and compliant at all times.

15. Related Policies and Guidance

These Rules of Advertising should be read together with the other policies and guidance available on Adjeem. Depending on the type of content or promotion, additional requirements may apply.
